ADB to provide Vietnam 3.67 bln USD loans during 2015-2017

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has pledged to continue providing Vietnam 3.67 billion U.S. dollars in loans for 2015-2017 period, equivalent to the level of previous years despite the fact that Vietnam is now a middle- income country.

Singapore recalls six food products from Taiwan amid “gutter oil” scandal

The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority said the use of tainted oil”is primarily a fraudulent practice”and that it is working with food safety watchdogs in Taiwan and Hong Kong to ensure that other affected products on the recall list will not be imported to Singapore.
